Concert of the 'Molotov' rock band in Managua
The popular 'Molotov' rock band from Mexico - famous in whole Latin America for the controversial lyrics of their songs - will give a concert in Managua on Saturday, November 25. The concert will start with music of the Nicaraguan group ‘División Urbana’.
The concert will start at 8 PM and it will take place at the terrain next to the Pellas building along the Masaya highway. The tickets cost C$350 for VIP places and C$200 for the regular area. Tickets can be bought at Ópticas Münkel stores, according to the organizers.
This is the first time that the Molotov band visits Nicaragua, but their songs like ‘Give me the power’, ‘Puto’, and ‘Mi agüita maría’ are very well-known throughout the country and because of their popularity the concert is expected to be sold out.
The curtain raisers 'División Urbana' have been performing for ten years and the group, consisting of three Nicaraguans and an Argentinean, is one of the most popular rock band in the country. Songs like 'De bar en bar’, ‘Cerveza’, as well as their recently launched first CD have helped position the band.
