Description
Hospedaje Cocibolca is located in the street that runs from the center of Granada to Lake Nicaragua. This colonial building has a tranquil and familiar atmosphere and its lodging options are divided into 25 rooms.
A Nicaraguan breakfast can be served on request. However, part of the hotel's service is the free use of the kitchen, so that guests prepare their own meals at any time of the day.
Hospedaje Cocibolca also offers internet, transportation and tours. A water tank is available to ensure the water supply and a generator assures electricity at the hotel.

There are two hotels by the name of Hospedaje Cocibolca. One has a pool. I would recommend neither.
Hospedaje Cocibolca #1. These rooms are basically for backpackers. The room offered us had no privacy and only one electrical outlet.
Hospedaje Cocibolca #2. This hotel has a nice common area. It also has a nice pool. However, our room was the size of a postage stamp. The cleaning crew started very.early. There was no privacy. There was a horrible sewer odor from the bathroom area.
The breakfasts were good. They had problems with the internet in the evenings.

hola,
this place is good deal for Granada and it is quiet (I don't understand the comments before..., although the Nicaraguan life begins at 6 a.m. when the sun is rising, not like in some other countries of the northern part, if you will stay up at 11 a.m. in Nica half the day has passed by...).
The staff is friendly and helpful, and so what you want more?!
I can recommend this hotel pleasently.

Hi jagr rio!
If you had known, that the owner Carlos Gomez thinks that all foreigners are "hijos de puta" (sons of a bitch) would you still recommend this place??
I heard it by myself while he was yelling at the owner of another Hospedaje.
But its your decision to support this boozer..

If you're looking for a noisy and unfriendly place.. here you're at the right spot.
A steady drunken chief and unhappy faces at the reception that make you feel bad from the first moment.
If you're expecting to have a nice sleep... forget it!
In the morning the staff will make sure that you awake at 6 o'clock... if you like it or not.
NEVER AGAIN!
