My husband, daughter and I stayed at Sabalos in March of 2006. The facilities are rustic but charming. We loved watching the heron and other birds floating down the river on their own little island of "lily pads"!The gardens were filled with flowers and it was easy to catch a glimpse of a variety of iguanas and butterflies. Food was excellent. We enjoyed kayaking down the Sabalos river. Would recommend a stay to anyone who enjoys a night or two in a cabin!
