My family (3 children 8, 11 and 13) and I spent 3 days and 2 nights at Casa del Soul and loved every minute. A short walk down to the beach and in only a few hours of beach combing,we found a huge variety of shells and coral. San Juan del Sur is a cute beach town but if you really want to relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty of the area, stay at Casa del Soul! Randy and his staff will assist you in getting to and from town as well as setting up local tours. Casa del Soul is enchanting.

My wife arrived from Denmark and stayed with Randy at "Casa del Soul" for a week in July 08 and we enjoyed every second of our stay. It is a quiet place with very comfortable rooms and from the terrasse of house you have a fantastic view overlooking a gorgeous untouched bay, The Pacific Ocean and the colourful sunset. After a couple of days and noisy nights i San Juan Del Sur we really missed Casa del Soul. Randy is a perfect host, and togehter with the caretakers of "Casa del Soul", Alex, his wife and Lucy he helped us with all practical things as transportation from/to the airport, tours in the local area and other places in Nicaragua, picking us up from San Juan in the evenings, and where to buy food and beers for the fantastic evenings at the terrase of the house. It takes about half an hour to walk to San Juan and when we returned Alex picked us up whenever we wanted it. We had the opportunity to meet a lot of nice people at Randys place, and at the same time we had our peaceful relaxing moments at the pool reading all our books. When we are going to visit Nicaragua next time we return to Casa del Soul and I guarantee that you will have an amazing and unforgettable time at "Casa del Soul" if you intend to go to Nicaragua.

I stayed at Casa del Soul for 3 days traveling in from Costa Rica. I am back home now and already miss my spot at the bar for breakfast, the views, the pool, the beaches and especially the sunsets.

You could not ask for a more hospitable host than Randy, the owner and Alex and Gabriella. Besides the beauty of the place, the climate is ideal with a perfect temperature and constant breezes. Casa del Soul is a real treasure of a place and I already look forward to my next trip there.

Casa Del Soul is a wonderful place to hang your hat. Close to town yet far away enough for the quiet and solitude for a good nights sleep. The view is breathtaking, peaceful and wild at the same time. The beds are very comfortable, and Casa Del Sou has all of the ammenities of home. Sat. TV, internet service, a well cooked, healthy breakfast, fresh linens, maid service. All I have to do is sit back and enjoy the pool and the view. Great place to stay.

What a pleasant trip to the 'Casa Del Soul, nestle in the hillside in the next bay north

of San Juan Sur, Nicaragua. My stay there was relaxing and enjoyable. The beautiful

View, the soft sounds of the ocean, quietness, stress less and peaceful atmosphere of the

place is a relief from most bed and breakfast and hotels. The Casa Del Soul is spotless,

there's a beautiful pool over looking the bay with lounge chairs and hammocks.

It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach

which has a pebble base and jutting jetty rocks , there are calm and relaxing

areas to swim created by these protected jetty’s'. The rooms have a breathtaking view and

the hospitality of the host "Randy" with his help Gabriela and Alex truly adds to the final

touch. The trip to town which for me required transportation was provided by Randy or it

could be walked by the heartier. There's a friendly, laid back atmosphere that is present

while walking in town. I recommend that you take your camera and enjoy the local

culture of colorful store fronts, small eatery's, shops, and of course along the beach on

the bayside you find some most unique bar and grill restaurants.

There is wildlife in the area and if you are as lucky me, I was able to photograph

Monkeys, Parrots, wild birds in the jungle, bay and rivers. If you need a get-away

this is it. The place is right, the people are friendly, the food is great, Although available

leave your phones,tv and email at home. You'll be spending most of your time relaxing.

My wife and I stayed with Randy at "Casa del Soul" for 10 days in January of '08. It was one of our greatest trips ever. A beautifully designed and maintained 4000 sq. ft. house nestled into the face of a little mountain overlooking a gorgeous untouched bay. Randy is an extremely gracious host with a wealth of knowledge of the local terrain and people around town. Randy helped us accomplish in 10 days what would have taken months. The caretakers of "Casa del Soul" are great people as well. Whether they were entertaining my broken spanish in daily chats at breakfast or, by the pool, or driving me to the beach (to make sure I wouldn't get lost), they always treated me as if I was part of their family. If you're ever going to visit Nicaragua I guarantee that you will have an amazing and unforgettable time at "Casa del Soul".

I had the pleasure to spent a few days at Casa del Soul in February 08. What a fantastic experience it was and what a great location. The house is fabulous and the view of the bay and ocean amazing. This location is an oasis of peace and beauty. The swimming pool is superbe and the rooms awesome. The breakfast is the best one I had in Nicaragua and the deck around the pool is the best place to be. This Casa del Soul was really the higlight of my whole trip to Nicaragua. This is truly the best kept secret in Nicaragua. First class !

My daughter and I stayed at Casa del Sur for 12 days at the beginning of the year and had a wonderful time. My daughter loved the pool and the beach and I enjoyed the tranquil and beautiful setting. we would go back anytime.

We could not have found a better place to relax, enjoy nature and live in luxury all combined.
The property owner made us feel as if he had known us forever. He was always on top of things making sure that anything we might have needed was
provided. A delicious breakfast was served when and wherever we pleased. (no schedules, no specific areas... just like home) We found difficult leaving the house since we felt so comfortable just being there ovelooking the Pacific Ocean and seeing all different kinds of birds and friendly monkeys.
We want to go back and never have to leave!...just like a dream from which you dont want to wake up...
