I would just like to make an anotation which is not neglectible. As I was looking for a place to eat french fare in Granada, I opted for the Gran Francia (one of the two choices stated in the Guia Turistica I got at the airport). Considering the name, I expected to have an offer that would please me and my wife. To my disappointment the menu did not include much of french dishes. Yes, the building is a very nice example of colonial architecture, really, and appearently thanks its current name to a frenchman, but definetely not to its menu.

Even though my wife and I spend one romantic night in the hotel, we had a really good experience, they treated us like royalty. We got the romantic package, that includes dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast. Of course one night in the hotel... next time we'll try to spend a longer time... best hotel in Granada.

The best hotel in Granada and one of the best ever! We spent 5 wonderful days at La Gran Francia, enjoyed everyone of them and are definetely coming back. Recommended to take the experience coordination they offer, its a bit pricy, but its worth every penny.

My family is very spolied and demanding. We had a pleasant stay at La Gran Francia. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a back up generator that when the entire Granada is in the dark, La Gran Francia keeps running as normal business, not just the hotel, but the restaurant as well. Everyone is very friendly, and very professional. It helped made our stay a great experience. You may think it is a little pricy, but it is worth it.
