Description
Restaurant Silva opened its doors in 1947 and it is known as the creator of the Nicaraguan plate “pescado a la Tipitapa”. Therefore, restaurant Silva is the best place to enjoy a fish without bones.
The place is located in the city’s main street in a traditional Nicaraguan ‘casona’ (large house). The restaurant has a typical Nicaraguan decoration with arts and crafts and has a private environment.
The restaurant's main dish is the ‘fried guapote without bones”, which special sauce is a family recipe. This same plate can also be prepared steamed. Plates are all prepared with wooden stove and are served with an appetizer of tortillas and the Nicaraguan ‘cuajada’ (a type of cheese) and with a national sweet as dessert.
The menu also has chicken, red meat and more. In fact, restaurant Silva can prepare any type of food for events with a previous request. For those private events, the restaurant can be rented or can move their culinary team to assist any party or celebration at home or at any other place.
