    I visited Caballito with my family (husband and little girl and boy) and have a wonderful, hearty lunch: fresh fish, steak, and chicken finger. Cold beer and a delicious limonade for my Children.

Description

This restaurant offers seafood paella, honeyed chicken, soups, fish (mojarra, tilapia, guapote), spaghetti, salads with olive oil, ceviche, chicken, pork, beef, staple food, and so-called bocas. Bocas, small snacks popular in Latin America, are provided for free, depending on the size of the order.

From this establishment, impressive sunsets can be enjoyed. Every month, Caballito’s Mar organizes a party with live music; for children, a party with clowns and piñatas is organized bimonthly (all for free).

Music is offered as well. Common are Nicaraguan music, Latin Trova, and music of different genres, such as blues, rock, reggae, etc.

Also, kayak tours to the Isitian River are offered, where visitors can spot caimans, howler monkeys, turtles, and many different types of birds, as well as a large diversity of flora.
